Easton is a first-year adjunct professor in the School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University. His teaching interests deal with the history and development of philosophy, with an emphasis on trends in 20th-century analytic and continental philosophy. Easton's other interests include current issues in metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language. At present, his research involves the implications of ordinary language philosophy for ethics, metaphysics (esp. personal identity, freewill, and platonism), philosophy of mind, and philosophy of religion.
