Steve Emerson, Ph.D., is an adjunct professor in church history and theology, and has been teaching in these subject areas for more than 10 years. His areas of research interest include patristic soteriology, Cappadocian theology, and Augustine. A favorite quote of his from church history comes from 19th-century missionary Adoniram Judson: "The future is as bright as the promises of God."
