Free Methodist Center

The Free Methodist Center (FMC) results from a partnership between the School of Theology and the Southern California Conference of the Free Methodist Church to identify and train students to develop into godly, informed, and competent leaders. The FMC seeks to place these servant-leaders in the local church community. Karen Strand Winslow, Ph.D., directs the center, drawing on a wealth of knowledge grounded in rigorous academia and ministerial experience.

Winslow, whose expertise includes biblical and Jewish studies, works in conjunction with Free Methodist Churches to heighten awareness of the School of Theology as a resource to local church leaders. Through the FMC, Winslow recruits students, and develops effective ministers through education, one-on-one mentoring, and scholarship support.
