L.A. Theology Program

The Los Angeles (L.A.) Theology Program gathers church leaders from the greater Los Angeles area in order to train and prepare them for lives marked by faith, integrity, scholarship, and excellence. The program strives to reflect the rich cultural diversity that characterizes our city. The unity of believers, regardless of ethnic and cultural lines, fosters a deeper level of study for the seminary student, utlimately yielding a higher level of Christian faith and practice.

We at the L.A. Program seek to support Los Angeles-area pastors, as they face life’s complex issues, with a profound understanding of the Bible, Christian doctrine, Church history, and practical ministry applications. Through partnering together, we enable them to contextualize the Gospel message to those whom they minister. Individuals working at all levels within the Church or parachurch organizations are welcomed to this program, which offers the following master’s degrees: Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Arts in Christian Education (M.A.C.E.), and Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies (M.A.P.S.). Women are strongly encouraged to apply.
