Archibald Hart, 2005 Pastors’ Luncheon
Archibald Hart is a senior professor of psychology and dean emeritus in the Department of Clinical Psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Hart received his B.Sc. from the University of South Africa and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from University of Natal, South Africa. He is a renowned Christian psychologist and author, and has written numerous books and articles on topics such as the hazards of ministry, depression, anxiety, divorce, stress, and sexuality. Hart frequently speaks at Christian conferences and is a regular guest on the Haven Rest radio broadcast. He is certified as a biofeedback practitioner and a board certified diplomate fellow in psychopharmacology. Hart serves as the executive editor and director of International Relations for the American Association of Christian Counselors. Among other areas of expertise, Hart is interested in cognitive psychology, stress management, psychophysiology, biofeedback, and therapeutic aspects of the Christian Gospel.
