Programa Hispano

Hispanic Program

The commitment of Haggard Graduate School of Theology to equip leaders for the Hispanic church of the 21st century is evident in the articulation and implementation of a vision that recognizes the need in ethnic leadership. With such focus in view, Haggard Graduate School of Theology provides Hispanic students a graduate theological education in a linguistic and cultural dynamic that enhances the richness of the Hispanic worldview in the context of mainstream American culture.

The Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies/M.A.P.S. (60 units) and the Master of Divinity/M.Div. (90 units) programs are offered in a bilingual setting, and all classes are taught in the Spanish or English language. Hispanics who have a greater grasp of one language will be able to choose the language and class context. Those who understand both languages may take the bilingual approach and gain an expanded worldview that will enhance their witness in church leadership. Enrique Zone, Ed.D., is director of the Hispanic Program. For information, call (626) 815-5448.
