About this Major

Why This Major Is Relevant

With the aging of the Baby Boomer population, a mass exodus is anticipated in churches and nonprofit organizations over the next decade. This leaves significant opportunity for qualified Christian ministries graduates to step into the gap. As needy populations increase, APU’s Christian ministries degree prepares graduates to take advantage of plentiful job opportunities and rapid advancement.

Gain In-depth Learning Experiences

As a result of the degree’s internship requirement, students graduate with practical ministry experience on their résumé. APU Christian ministries professors are active in ministries outside of teaching and frequently provide contacts to these internship opportunities. Internship experiences often lead to contacts in the field and full-time positions after graduation.
