  • Prepares students for continued education at a seminary or university
  • Equips students for service and lay leadership in the Christian community
  • Gives students a broad perspective on the field of theology
  • Provides an academic background involving both theory and praxis

  • Pastor
  • Teacher
  • Director of Christian education
  • Youth pastor
  • School administrator
  • Christian organizational leadership

What about internship and graduate school opportunities?

Many students complete internships in local churches. Additional internship possibilities are available through faculty contacts. Theology majors often pursue graduate degrees at Fuller Theological Seminary or at APU within the Haggard Graduate School of Theology.

“In the Haggard Graduate School of Theology, we have amazing professors who guide their students through the ideas and concepts of who God is and why we believe what we do. They have showed me the nature of church doctrines, what the earlier theologians thought, and how to build on their ideas in modern times.”
