Overview
APU’s Christian Ministries major equips students for practical ministry. Students receive a foundation in the academic study of the Bible, its history, and doctrines of the ancient and contemporary church.
Philosophy coursework broadens students’ understanding of the world by introducing current and historical interpretations of self, the world, and God. These Biblical and philosophical perspectives then serve as a context for further study of how theology, faith, and scriptural knowledge play out in the Christian life and practical ministry. The degree couples academic learning with tangible experience through ministry internship opportunities. Christian ministries majors leave APU prepared and ready to make an impact on the world around them.
