At APU, you’ll find that our faith and Four Cornerstones—Christ, Scholarship, Community, and Service—permeate every aspect of the university. Whether studying ethics in business from a Christian worldview, meeting with your discipleship group in your residence hall, serving in the local community, or attending chapel, we hope you’ll graduate having grown in both wisdom and in your faith.
Chapel is essential to Azusa Pacific University. Students are required to attend chapel at least three times per week, and with seven weekly chapel options, you can take your pick. Each chapel is intentionally designed to give students an opportunity to deepen their faith through diverse worship experiences. Renowned speakers, pastors, authors, and musicians provide biblical, relevant, and challenging messages.
- Up to seven different chapel options each week, including services specifically designed for liturgical worship, community focus, graduating seniors, the global Church, and more
- Biblically-based messages that celebrate diversity, engage the current culture, and insight a response
- Internationally renowned authors, speakers, teachers, pastors, and musicians
