Doug Campbell, M.A., received his master’s degree in 1999 from APU. He has
extensive international leadership and management experience in for-profit and nonprofit
environments, serving as a C-level executive in an international relief and development
organization. Campbell works in an executive capacity on Los Angeles’ Skid Row with an international social
service agency, in the HIV/AIDS community, and in for-profit electronic and print media.
Beginning in January 2002, he has continually taught undergraduate, graduate, and later, online
programs, as an adjunct in APU's University College. Karen, his wife of 35
years, teaches kindergarten in public school. His daughter and her family live in Shanghai,
China, and his son is a U.S. Army Captain linguist living in Monterey, CA.
