University Relations is always looking for interesting, relevant, and engaging topics for stories
featured online and in university publications. Story ideas should be submitted
to University Relations at universityrelations@apu.edu or (626) 815-4500,
along with contact information, possible angles for the story to take, and relevance
to the university and its mission and purpose.
APU Feature Descriptors
Around Campus
A brief article and photo format that covers campus events to inform and entertain both internal and external audiences, while giving a look into life at APU. Best for events that deserve or warrant increased description/reporting/explanation.
Faculty Writings
Feature-length format reserved for academic/scholastic research writing from faculty.
In Focus
Feature-length format reserved for showcasing a service on campus, or an issue that affects higher education, Christians, etc.
The Seven
The Seven seeks to familiarize the APU community and external stakeholders with APU faculty, staff, administrators, and students. Seven questions are asked of the interviewee to get to know him or her on a more personal level.
Shutterbug
Photo album format that provides a look into typical APU culture/events/etc. Photos are accompanied by brief captions.
