As the Director, I am excited about helping individuals achieve their career and educational goals. The Ventura Regional Center is a direct extension of Azusa Pacific University’s (APU) main campus in Azusa. As an extension of the School of Education, we offer a wide variety of master's degrees and credential programs for teachers. The School of Education at Azusa Pacific University equips teachers and administrators for excellence and leadership in educational settings. In addition to education programs, the Ventura Regional Center offers a Master of Arts in Management. APU's Master of Arts in Management (MAM) Program teaches organizational development leaders how to effectively motivate employees to exceed market expectations by improving competency levels and job performance. Our center works together with the Center for Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS) serving as an online learning hub for CAPS online students in the surrounding area.
Friendly, experienced faculty and staff members are available Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. to assist students with everything from registration to finding their classrooms. The school’s motto “God First” and the Four Cornerstones of Christ, Scholarship, Community, and Service are the guiding principles for our daily activities as we seek to serve God and those He brings to our Center.
There are twelve attractive, comfortable, and well-maintained classrooms, including eight “smart” classrooms. The center has one "relaxed" classroom for students and faculty to meet, study, and reflect in a comfortable atmosphere. Our wireless campus is available for our students who are taking online classes as well as students conducting research for onsite class work. We ave multimedia computer lab and a library with Internet, database, and advanced search access. I invite you to take a tour of our facilities. I would be happy to meet with you and discuss how we will assist you in achieving your educational and career goals.
