2011 Student Leadership Conference

Posted: March 25, 2011

The 2011 Student Leadership Conference takes place at Azusa Pacific University, July 5 -8. Led by Doug Fields, who was recently named senior director of APU’s HomeWord Center for Youth and Family, this event draws hundreds of teenagers hungry to learn more about leadership.

Speakers include: Doug Fields, Jim Burns, Megan Hutchinson, Josh Griffin, Mark Munoz, Matt McGill, Neely McQueen, Kenny Luck, and many others!

"I believe that high school students are not the "future of the church," instead, I believe they are the church of today! It is my goal to empower, encourage, and equip young leaders to embrace God's purposes (evangelism, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and worship) so they can impact their families, schools, churches and communities. Every year we see life-change begin at our Student Leadership Conference, and then we get to watch it play out in students through Kingdom influence. That is what I get most excited about." — Doug Fields

The Student Leadership Conference has two goals: to teach and inspire servant leadership to teenagers, and to challenge student leaders to experience and express God’s purposes for their lives as they make a difference in their home, school, church, and within their community.

Cost is $99 for students and $69 for adult leaders registered before May 1. For more information or to register, visit www.dougfields.com.
