Update from Mexicali

Posted: April 18, 2011

Azusa Pacific University’s outreach teams, as well as all the high school teams, arrived safely in Mexicali this past weekend. Staff report that everything is going well during this second week of ministry this spring. Volunteers are working hard in the clinics, churches, and schools around town.

According to Matt Browning, associate vice president for internationalization at APU, several staff will meet with the mayor today and speak to community members about the collaboration and longstanding relationship between APU and the city of Mexicali. "It's an exciting time," said Browning. "The week is off to a great start."
