APU Alumni Win Best Student Film at L.A. Film Festival

A project by APU cinematic arts alumni Zack Evans '14, Kaleb Tuttle '14, Zach Cieszynski '14, and Brian Hartley '14 titled Where Are They Now? won Best Student Film at the Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival.

The film was produced in the Production Capstone class, and professors Adam Hall and Michael Smith, MFA, Ph.D.,  served as faculty advisors. Previously, the film won first place at the Broadcast Education Association 2014 Festival of Media Arts in the Narrative Video category.

The Los Angeles Underground Film Festival is June 21, 2014, at J.E.T. Studios, locared at 5126 Lankershim Blvd., in North Hollywood. The film screens from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.. Tickets are $12. To purchase tickets, visit: www.laufilmfest.com/Tickets.html.
