Azusa and Gladstone High Schools Hold 2002 Graduations on APU's West Campus

Azusa Pacific University’s Richard and Vivian Felix Event Center was the site of the 2002 graduations for both Azusa and Gladstone high schools on Thursday June 20. Azusa High held their ceremony at 4:30 p.m. and Gladstone held theirs at 7 p.m. The schools rented the center for the graduations, marking the second year the facility has been used for graduation ceremonies.

Previously, the events were held in the Cougar Stadium on East Campus. “What’s great about the Event Center is that people can see and hear better, and the graduates and their family and friends are so much more comfortable,” said Rick Stoecklein, principal of Azusa High School.
