Soul Desire Performs at Spirit West Coast

APU alumni band, Soul Desire, was given the opportunity to perform at the 6th annual Spirit West Coast, July 25-27. The group, made up of Aaron Stewart ‘00, Kala Balch ‘02, Tracy Robbins ‘01, and Scott Cochran ‘02, was one of seven independent groups chosen to perform at the concert held in Monterey, California.

Spirit West Coast is a Christian music festival held during the summer. Each year, nearly 60,000 people gather to hear high-profile Christian artists such as Steven Curtis Chapman, Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, Delirious, Jennifer Knapp, Five Iron Frenzy, Skillet, and PAX 217.

Another APU alumni group, Daily Planet, recently signed with Reunion Records. They performed at Spirit West Coast as a mainstream band. Daily Planet's debut album is due out August 20.
