Andrew Henck, M.A., has been teaching in the Leadership Minor program since 2015. His professional experiences in human resources and organizational development span nearly a decade in the nonprofit and INGO sectors. He has facilitated leadership development programs for humanitarian professionals in Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, and Thailand. In the classroom, he bridges leadership theory and real-world practice while preparing students for lifelong careers in a changing and increasingly globalized world of work. Since 2010, he has been an active member of the International Leadership Association, and was elected to serve as its inaugural Youth Leadership Member Interest Group chair. His areas of specialty in consulting and speaking are leadership education, emerging talent development, intergenerational organizations, strengths-based teams, and organizational culture.
