Biography

Jennifer Livingston, Ph.D., joined the Department of Kinesiology faculty in January 2008. Prior to coming to APU, she taught at several colleges and universities in Pennsylvania, New York, and Kansas, and has also worked as a certified athletic trainer at the collegiate and high school levels as well as within clinic settings. In addition to teaching anatomy and multiple writing and research-related courses, she serves as the prospective student contact for the Master of Science in Athletic Training program. Some of her research interests are faculty development, competitive youth soccer and baseball, and youth athlete spiritual development. Jen and her husband, BJ, have a son and daughter, Noah and Adah, as well as a chocolate lab named Shorty and a cat named Chica. She’s most likely to be found at a youth sports event cheering for one of her children.
