Luke Hedden, M.A., is passionate about making work better. His research interests include motivation, organizational assimilation (on-boarding), and change management. His research has centered on intrinsic motivation during the new-employee on-boarding process. Specifically, Hedden has studied how leaders can create on-boarding environments that catalyze intrinsic motivation in new employees. As a human resources practitioner, Hedden endeavors to infuse courses with current and practical strategies to help students apply their learning in their places of work.
