Biography

Shaynah Neshama-Bannister, Ph.D., has extensive social work experience in crisis intervention, medical social work, counseling, program management, and foster care. Since 1996, she has worked as a social work supervisor and foster care social worker at Niños Latinos Unidos/FFA, serving Spanish-speaking families in Southern California. She has also held faculty positions at National Sports Academy (Bulgaria), International Baptist Theological Seminary (Czech Republic), and Simbirsky Missionary College (Russia). Neshama-Bannister is also involved in prison and prayer ministries; is a lead faculty member on international social work, with extended experience in the field of international social policy; and is involved in organizing social work internships in international settings.
