Field Practicum Education

The Master of Social Work field practicum education program at Azusa Pacific University equips students with the critical skills necessary to serve as professional social work practitioners. The internship experience provides rich practical opportunities that allow aspiring social workers to develop competence and gain practice experience while becoming socialized to the profession of social work practice. Field practicum education is viewed as a collaborative partnership between the student, the agency, and the MSW program faculty.

The MSW field practicum education program has more than 380 agency partnerships across all five counties in Southern California (Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and Ventura) committed to educating and preparing our MSW students for careers in professional social work.
