MSW Students Honored for Work with Homeless Individuals and Families

On April 8, 2020, six APU Corporation for Supportive Housing scholars participated in a virtual graduation celebration. These six Community Leadership and Program Administration specialization MSW students have completed internships with partnering social service agencies working with the homeless population. They all received a $1,000 stipend from Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA).

Jazmine Rocha has already accepted a position in the homeless sector and will be starting work at The People Concern at the end of April. All six MSW students will be graduating from APU on May 2, 2020.
