Message from the Chair
We are delighted that you are interested in learning more about our master’s programs in leadership and organizational psychology.
Leadership is an interdisciplinary area of study that requires practitioners and researchers to stay current in the field and adaptive to change. To that end, our MA in Leadership program provides students a balance of theoretical and practical learning, with particular emphasis on nonprofit, education, and service organizations. In today’s world, employees need to be prepared for a rapidly changing work environment, and benefit from learning how to develop their leadership skills.
The fast-growing field of organizational psychology, also known as industrial psychology, prepares individuals who help organizations and businesses flourish. To that end, our MS in Organizational Psychology program teaches men and women how to diagnose and improve organizational health and to build and develop successful teams. Graduates of this program champion people and systems in organizations, contributing to their overall wellness.
The department also offers a Leadership Minor, which teaches students from a variety of disciplines how to be virtuous, competent agents of change in any context.
Let us know how we can assist you!
Blessings,
Jillian H. Gilbert, DSL, CF-LSP
