Please join us for a book signing reception with Dr. Ed Mazza, in celebration of the publication of The Scholastics & The Jews: Coexistence, Conversion, and the Medieval Origins of Tolerance. This work focuses on the efforts of Christian missionaries in the 12th and 13th centuries to convert non-believers of different backgrounds.

Dr. Edmund J. Mazza is Professor of History at Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles where he teaches Ancient, Medieval, and Renaissance and Reformation History. Dr. Mazza is the author of several articles in the online journal Catholic World Report. His research has taken him from the Vatican’s Secret Archives to the lost tomb of St. Francis Xavier in Malaysia.

Dr. Mazza is a frequent guest on AM 930 Immaculate Heart Radio’s “Terry & Jesse Show,” and he often speaks at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel in Covina. His DVDs and CDs on Church History are available from Lighthouse Catholic Media/St. Joseph Communications.
