HON 260 Field Trip: St. Andrew’s Abbey

This semester in HON 260, everyone will have an opportunity to experience life in a monastery through a visit to St. Andrew's Abbey in Valyermo. Students will witness first-hand the kind of prayer and contemplation that shaped many of the authors they read, including Aquinas, Dante, and Teresa of Avila. A second monastic experience will be offered on Saturday, October 28. Each trip is limited to 30 students. Unclaimed spots on the trip will be offered to Honors Program alumni and Honors students not enrolled in HON 260. To express interest, please add your name to the waiting list.
