This training is led by Dr. Ryan Hartwig. Open to all APU employees, this training series was specifically developed to equip supervisors with tools to develop their leadership skills in order to take their team to the next level.

The series consists of 3 courses: Leading Teams that Thrive, Running Excellent Meetings, and Dealing Effectively with Diverse Personalities and Communication Styles.

Part 1: "LEADING TEAMS THAT THRIVE" will teach you to harness the potential you see in your team and create a "next level" team. We will discuss practical steps in order to achieve this and equip you with tools to make your team the best it can be.

Part 2: "RUNNING EXCELLENT MEETINGS" looks to optimize your leadership abilities in team meetings to eliminate distraction and boredom and instead facilitate effective, energized meetings. You'll leave with ways to help your team develop creative solutions, operate more efficiently and leave the days of "pointless meetings" behind.

Part 3: "DEALING EFFECTIVELY WITH DIVERSE PERSONALITIES AND COMMUNICATION STYLES" aims to equip you with ways to create a cohesive unit out of a seemingly impossible mix of different personalities within a team. From the talkative, energetic member to the quiet, introverted team member, this session will help you create a team whose members each contribute to your team's mission in a positive and effortless way.
