This seminar intends to provide knowledge and understanding of the current legal landscape as relevant to immigration in the United States. An immigration attorney will provide a wealth of information about  current laws impacting immigrants and their direct and indirect impact on social service settings and organizations. Information will be provided on different micro and macro-level interventions to adapt to current legal trends as it relates to helping professions. Lastly, legal and ethical implications for professional practice will be addressed.
