Ministry. Vocation. We hear these words a lot in Christian circles, but what do we mean when we say them? What does the Bible have to say about vocation and ministry? A broken understanding of these ideas can make us think that ministry can only happen within the four walls of the church building and that only some people are called to do this work. Christianity, however, is not just a leisuretime activity. The Center for Vocational Ministry team tackles some of the big questions related to vocation and ministry and offers practical help on how to be devoted to your vocation. This seminar ties in concepts of being productive and allowing your work to be the primary way to love your neighbor, and explores what it means to be devoted to the Caller and the calling, and how to be productive in loving our neighbors.
