In a world driven by accomplishments and perfection, there is a high price paid to “belong.” This presentation addresses the social ethics of the pursuit of beauty, and the particular impact on women who struggle with eating disorders. Presenter Kellie Nasont has spent the last year and a half working at a local eating disorder clinic as a therapist and doctoral student, providing care and support to women diagnosed with anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa
