The purpose of this symposium is not to promote genetics, but to raise awareness and spark dialogue in light of how rapidly technologies, such as CRISPR-Cas 9, are developing. It is an interactive and informative meeting on gene editing with invited scientists, CCCU leaders from various disciplines as well as community leaders in Southern California.
Featuring Ting Wu, Ph.D. as the keynote speaker, and others from BioLogos, Innovative Genomics Institute.
Co-hosted by the Center for Research in Science and Personal Genetics Education Project.
