To meet each student’s needs, teachers know how important it is to personalize learning. These tailored strategies give students voice and choice in their learning, increasing engagement and generating better outcomes. But what do these tailored strategies look like in the classroom? To personalize learning effectively, teachers need to experience it for themselves.

On July 27, the fourth annual Better Together: California Teachers Summit will bring new and seasoned teachers together at 30+ locations across the state to strengthen our teacher network, share resources and experience what it looks like to personalize learning for ourselves. The Summit will feature TED-style EdTalks presented by teacher leaders and a choice of discussions in an Edcamp format led by teachers, for teachers. This format encourages peer-to-peer dialogue and empowers teachers to lean into their own learning.

The Summit gives California teachers a voice in their own learning and an opportunity to share their ideas. It also connects them with a professional network to personalize learning, both for themselves and the students they serve. Don’t miss this unique day of inspiration, learning and sharing.

The Summit is free and open to all California pre-K-12 teachers, teacher candidates, school administrators and other educators, such as instructional assistants, school psychologists and school librarians.
