Panel Discussion: Why an Education in Sculptural Methods Matters

This fall, we will focus on how an undergraduate education in Sculpture and 3D Design has impacted the lives of 4 professional artists. The panel will be made up of the new Department of Art’s 3D faculty, Bill Catling, Nery Lemus, Jane Pryor, and Tamara Valdry. They will share how their education has both direct and indirect applications to the professional work they are involved in. The topics will include the impact on their studio work as sculptors, creative problem solving, related professional activities and how it affected them as college professors.
