Symphonic Band and Gospel Choir Concert: Courage and Peace

The APU Gospel Choir and Symphonic Band join together to share powerful stories on topics of social justice, including Malala-Symbol of Courage and Peace for band and choir by Christin Hablewitz, based on the book “I am Malala, The girl who stood up for education and was shot by the Taliban” by Malala Yousafzai. The program also includes Dry your tears Afrika by John Williams, which was featured in the film Amistad.
