Emily Dickinson's Poetry in Art Song

A collaborative lecture/recital given by the School of Music in collaboration with the Honors College.

This event will feature a lecture by Dr. Barbara Harrington, intermixed with performances of art songs by voice majors. The lecture will focus on art songs that have been composed using Dickinson's poetry, by composers such as Aaron Copland, Lori Laitman, and Ricky Ian Gordon.
