The California Music Education Association, Southwestern Section, and Azusa Pacific University are proud to co-host a composition workshop for K-12 students and their teachers. This event will be led by guest composer Dr. Lisa Crawford and APU music education professor Dr. Alexander Koops.
Sessions will focus on creating music using digital devices and will include practical application lessons for teaching composition in any kind of music class, including general music, band, orchestra, and choir. Composition teaching resources and composition festivals and competitions will also be shared.
