This workshop series introduces participants to the 7 Principles of Good Teaching by Chickering and Gamson (1987). These principles serve to guide our approach to teaching with technology, reinforcing the mantra that pedagogy should drive technology, not the other way around. The goal is to help faculty use technology to improve their relationships with students, encourage student peer learning, promote active learning, provide prompt feedback, become more efficient, and accommodate diverse learners. This workshop series is appropriate for both tech newbies and tech geeks.
