This seminar examines how Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can be culturally tailored to treat trauma in diverse communities. Participants will be introduced to POOF (Pulling Out Of Fire) as a model for treating trauma in African American communities, examining how current evidence-based practice models are limited in work with diverse populations.
