Doctoral Studies in Higher Education Online Same Day Admissions Event

Azusa Pacific University's Department of Higher Education is offering online Same Day Admissions events for students interested in APU's PhD in Higher Education program and APU's EdD in Higher Education program for Summer 2024. This event will take place 2 pm - 5 pm Wednesday February 7th, 2024.

Please make an appointment and expect to spend about two hours with us. At this event an admissions representative will meet with you to go over admissions requirements and to assist you to complete your application.

The APU Doctoral Higher Education faculty and staff will also be present to assist you with time and instructions to write a brief essay about your educational goals and conduct admissions interviews for your program of interest. In order for your application to be considered complete and ready for an interview, please have the following items available:

• Unofficial copies of all transcripts leading up to and including Master's Degree
• A current Resume / CV
• The name and contact information for two references
• Scholarly Writing Sample

You will be required to upload these during the appointment with the Admissions representative.

Applicants may receive a conditional admission offer at this event. Additional admissions requirements, including official copies of transcripts and two completed recommendations, will be required before commencing in the program. Please note that this event is only for individuals with several years of full-time work experience in a college or university setting or those passionate about the field of higher education.
