What is Baccalaureate and Alumni Initiation?

The evening includes a celebratory welcome reception, worship, a keynote speaker, special awards, and a candela commissioning by President Adam J. Morris. Graduates will be inducted into the APU alumni community.

Who is Invited?

Parents, families, and friends are invited to join graduating students to celebrate the culmination of their APU journey. During the ceremony, graduates sit together and guests are in the seats surrounding the graduates.

Attire

Graduates: Wear your cap and gown, with the tassel on the right. Guests: Semiformal attire is encouraged.
