  • Kelly Roth, MA

    Director of Campus Ministry/Campus Pastor

    Kelly Roth has been active in ministry since 1994. She is ordained in the Free Methodist church and served for 20 years as the executive pastor and worship pastor at Cucamonga Christian Fellowship. Kelly previously worked as a professional studio musician for many years and loves to sing. She is a SoulQuest chaplain to graduate students in APU’s School of Music. With her love for music and leadership, Kelly developed a passion for helping people connect to God and to one another. In her free time, Kelly enjoys reading, singing, creating art, and writing. She loves to be outdoors as much as possible, especially with her family and friends.

  • Wesley Parker Reed, MDiv

    Discipleship Coordinator/Campus Pastor

    Wesley is a contemplative reformer and a creative advocate who lives to embody the ministry of reconciliation and exists to create structure for the purpose of human flourishing. His heart beats for multicultural Christian discipleship, and his message is an invitation for all kinds of people to enter into this formative and revolutionary community. Wesley has served in a variety of ministry contexts since 2009, most of which have been dedicated to shepherding and disciple-making. He was born and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta and made his way to Los Angeles in 2012, so (in the truest sense) Wesley is a Southern Californian! He currently serves at Victory Bible Church in Pasadena and has been part of APU’s Campus Ministry staff since 2017. In his role at APU, Wesley provides pastoral leadership and vision for the Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) ministry, while occasionally offering pastoral counseling and preaching in chapel. In his life away from work, you will find him exploring the city, adventuring in the outdoors, visiting cultural sites, or spending time with his favorite people.

  • Rev. Rebekah A.R. Loufik, MDiv

    Discipleship Mentoring Coordinator/Campus Pastor

    Rev. Rebekah Loufik is a passionate teacher, speaker, counselor, pastor, and administrator, with more than 17 years in Christian education, missions, and pastoral and parachurch ministry. Rebekah was dean of students at LABI College, and a faculty member teaching intercultural studies, missions, ministry, theology, and Biblical studies courses. Rebekah became a minister with the Assemblies of God in 2008, and graduated from the Harvest Mission School in Pemba, Mozambique in 2014. She is community pastor at her church in Beverly Hills. In her role at APU, Rebekah creates and maintains the structure, resources, and vision for the Discipleship Mentoring program. Her favorite part of ministry is the opportunity to slow down, counsel, and encourage, calling out true identities in Christ that embody a balance of humility alongside Godly boldness and authority.

  • Dr. Coba Canales

    Dean of Spiritual Life/Campus Pastor

    Coba Canales has a passion to see students’ lives deeply transformed by Jesus. He loves doing ministry in teams and specifically enjoys helping others walk freely in their calling and gifts. Coba loves spending time with his family and would literally never leave the beach if that were possible.

  • Brooke O’Brien, MA

    Spiritual Life Administrative Coordinator

    Brooke has a heart for serving students from all nations and backgrounds. God first grew this when she was a member of The Navigators, a collegiate campus ministry at California State University, Long Beach. This experience led her to spend two summers as an English tutor in Japan and two years as an ESL teacher in Southern California. Brooke’s passion is to continue helping college students grow in their relationship with Jesus at APU and beyond!
