Student Information

Mail Services provides the student body of Azusa Pacific University the same postal privileges to which any U.S. resident is entitled. Mail Services also monitors incoming mail in order to hold students accountable to the university’s code of conduct and policies.

Receiving Mail

Unit Boxes

Mail Services offers mail and package service to each APU student. Unit box numbers can be set up online with an APU ID and APU email. Each student will receive a key for his/her unit box. In the event a key is lost or stolen, a replacement fee of $25 will be charged each time a new key is issued.

To set up a unit box fill out the Student Mail Box Form.

Students should check their mail regularly. Mail that is left for more than 30 days will be returned to sender and the student’s unit box will be closed. It is the responsibility of all students to leave a forwarding address with the Mail Services staff or through the Student Information Form before leaving campus for summer break. If no forwarding address is provided, all mail will be returned to the sender and the unit box will be closed. There is no forwarding available during Christmas or Easter break.

Graduating seniors must fill out the Student Information Form and turn in their unit box key the Friday before graduation. If a graduating senior fails to turn in their key, forwarding privileges will be revoked and all mail will be returned to the sender until the key is returned to Mail Services.

Student Mailing Address

Your unit box number must appear on all incoming mail and packages. Mail without your unit box number may be delayed. See below for examples of how mail should be addressed to you based on the mail service carrier delivering it.

Picking up a Package

You will receive a package notice via email once your package is ready for pickup at Mail Services East. Packages can be picked up during business hours. Each student must have their university ID to pick up packages. All packages must be processed through our internal tracking system. Please wait for a package notice email to pick up any package. No student packages can be picked up at our West location.

Sending Mail

Students can send mail or packages at either Mail Services location. All outgoing mail must be at Mail Services by 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, for same-day processing. All mail and packages must have a return address. We accept pre-paid USPS, FedEx, and UPS packages at both of our locations.
