Wordless Signs

As you approach an intersection while driving, you notice a strange thing. The familiar red, hexagonal sign is there.  The funny thing is there are no words on it.  It’s a bit odd, but you still know exactly what it is saying: “Stop.”

We’ve put words to the various dimensions of God’s holiness, especially how it is expressed through our own daily living. But if we take away the words, the message is still there.  People – those who follow Christ and those who do not – recognize characteristics that are attributable to God. The message remains clear.  People recognize purity, love, compassion, grace when they see it. Being a reflection of Christ means we live the meaning of who He is, whether we use words to describe it or not.  Either way, others around us resonate with that.
If you have any prayer requests, please send them to me.  We will pray for you.  And I invite you to join other students on Facebook, at: www.facebook.com/groups/apusoulquest.
