As part of the celebration of the 40th year of the Department of Art (and Design), this September through October there are going to be several exhibitions and a guest lecture panel. The schedule of events is as follows.

Guest Lecture: Panel Discussion on the History of the Department and art at APU - September 11, 5:00-5:45pm

Panel discusson as part of the 40th year celebration of the Department and
the history of art at Azusa Pacific University. Panel members include Prof. Tom Dunn, Chair and Professor William Catling, Prof. Jim Thompson and Prof. Emerita and former Chair Susan Ney. Moderated by Prof. Stephen Childs. Duke Lobby, Duke Academic Complex, West Campus.

Alumni Exhibition - September 10 - October 4

An invitational exhibition that features works by over sixty alumni on 5in x 5in Rives BFK paper. Duke Gallery, West Campus. Opening Reception is Tuesday, September 11, from 6:00-8:00pm

Origins: Celebrating Robert Bullock - September 10 - October 4

This exhibition dedicates the Robert Bullock Gallery and celebrates the work of Robert Bullock, first Chair of the Department, with a broad scope representing his lifelong artistic inquiries with ceramics, sculpture and painting. Curated by Prof. Tom Dunn. Robert Bullock Gallery, Art Center, East Campus.

Opening Reception is Tuesday, September 11, 6:00-8:00pm. A cake reception and brief presentation will be given at 7:00pm.
