Art majors have new Emphasis

Posted: March 12, 2013

The Department is excited to share that Art (BA) majors and Visual Art (BFA) majors now have the opportunity to concentrate in New Genre Art Forms. This emphasis explores art techniques of the contemporary age with a focus on three major forms: Performance, Video, and Installation.

This is now the one of eight emphases (ceramics; crafts; graphic design; interdiscplinary; painting and drawing; photography; printmaking) that the Art major can choose to specialize in their degree, bringing an additional level of depth to the programs.
