Jenny Thomas, M.A., is a lecturer in the on-campus and online TESOL graduate programs at APU. She also works full time as an assistant professor and Special Programs Coordinator for APU's American Language and Culture Institute,
teaching English for Academic Purposes with undergrad and grad international students and overseeing the International Writing Center and American/International Mentoring Program (AIM). Her research interests include second-language writing, contextualized grammar instruction, and seminar discussion skills. Her action research into dominant and passive student participation dynamics was published by TESOL in the Language Teacher Research series as a part of their volume on Language Teacher Research in Europe (2007).
