Biography

Joshua King, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of political science. He earned his Ph.D. at Baylor University where he studied political philosophy and international relations. King’s areas of teaching include ancient, modern, and American political thought. King’s emphasis as a teacher is on building classroom community to facilitate discussion-driven courses. His primary research interests are at the intersection of political philosophy and international relations. King’s research examines how the tradition of political philosophy speaks to contemporary international relations theory and addresses the tension between order and justice within international relations.
