Coursework for the history major covers Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the United States. In our curriculum, you will study intellectual and diplomatic history as well as cross-cultural encounters, including the interactions between European explorers and indigenous cultures in the Americas and European missionary efforts in Africa. Specialty courses offered by our faculty have included A Year in Time: 1968 and Native People Before/After Spanish Conquest.
