Biography

Henry Alonzo, MBA, an entertainment entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, serves as program director of the Master of Arts in Music Entrepreneurship and as assistant professor in the School of Music. He is founder and CCO of Adarga Entertainment Group, a company centered on providing music industry services to independent artists and record labels, serving corporate clients such as Sony Music, Curb Records, Essential Music Publishing, AdRev, DashGo, Integrity Music, HarperCollins, Univision, and MultiTracks.

Alonzo works with a variety of artists in the genres of Latin, pop/rock, CCM, and country, including winners of the Latin Grammy Award, Billboard Award, Dove Award, and BMI Latin Music Award. His company was a nominee for “Best Agency Doing Hispanic Social Media” in the 2016 Tecla Awards, sponsored by Telemundo.

Throughout his career, he has also co-produced music events at The Forum, Nokia Theater, Madison Square Garden, Coliseo de Puerto Rico, Arena Ciudad de Mexico, The Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center, EagleBank Arena, and the Shrine Auditorium.

He also serves on the Board of the Gospel Music Association and the Board of Directors for Idle Tuesdays Recording Studio, a non-profit organization. He is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the Music Business Association, and the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP).
